Kris Jenner does not have cancer, as she revealed in the latest episode of the show «Keeping Up with the Kardashians». The 68-year-old reality TV star shared the information she received from doctors on Thursday, July 18.
«Today after lunch, I got a call and they said that the little tumor was benign», - Kris said, to which her boyfriend, Corey Gamble, replied, «I'm glad to hear that».
Kris was shocked to learn that doctors had found a tumor on her ovary. Earlier in the fifth season, the momager had told her daughters that she had undergone screening and broke down in tears.
«I wanted to tell you something. I went to the doctor and had a screening done», - Kris said, before getting emotional. «They found, and it’s really concerning to me, but they found a cyst and a little tumor on my ovary… Doctor A said I need to have the ovaries removed, and I’m really worried about it because they were useful to you. That’s where all my children were conceived and grew, in my belly. So it’s a very sacred place for me».
Although she acknowledged that the surgery would be beneficial, the «Keeping Up with the Kardashians» star admitted in the confessional that she felt «emotional» because «when you’re young, you start talking about wanting a family».
«We literally talked about this 40, 50 years ago», - Kris continued in the episode. «And here we are discussing it again, and it’s another side of the process».
Upon discovering the tumor, Kris’s medical team immediately took action. This included a biopsy to determine whether the tumor was benign or malignant. During this time, the Kardashian-Jenner family supported their mother, demonstrating their famous family solidarity in times of crisis.
In the seventh episode of the series, Kris’s daughter, Kourtney Kardashian, sat down for a confessional to open up about her mother’s health.
«I completely understand how my mom feels because I would feel the same way», - explained the 45-year-old. «It's your female strength, and it doesn’t take away from who she is or what she’s been through, but I would feel that sentimental feeling of what it created»
