Kristy Carlson Romano shared her unpleasant experience with Mandy Moore at the wrap party for the film «The Princess Diaries». In an interview with Page Six Radio on October 6, Romano recalled how her «Even Stevens» co-star, Ty Hodges, invited her to the event.
According to Romano, when she approached Heather Matarazzo to remind her of their work together on MTV, Matarazzo responded that she didn’t remember. At that moment, Mandy Moore, who was nearby, allegedly let out a «fake laugh», - which Romano said deeply hurt her. She noted that at that moment she thought, «Mandy is a mean girl».
Mandy Moore has not yet commented on Romano’s remarks. All three actresses, including Matarazzo and Moore, starred in the 2001 film «The Princess Diaries», - where Moore played the role of school bully Lana Thomas. Matarazzo and Moore did not participate in the filming of the sequel, but Moore expressed hope for a cameo in the third film, which is currently in development.
