The son of Kim Zolciak, 15-year-old Kroy «KJ» Biermann Jr., has filed a motion in Georgia to reconsider the ruling in his sexual assault and sodomy case. According to court documents obtained by Us, KJ filed the «motion for reconsideration» on Wednesday, October 14.
KJ was arrested in August on charges of aggravated sexual assault and sodomy. Last month, he was released on a $ 200,000 bond and subsequently placed under house arrest until his court hearing. He, being one of Zolciak’s children from her estranged husband Kroy Biermann, has pleaded not guilty to seven felony charges, including aggravated child molestation, aggravated sexual battery, aggravated sodomy, false imprisonment, and three counts of sexual battery against a child under 16.
KJ’s attorneys have filed a motion to transfer the case to juvenile court and insist on his innocence. According to his attorney Jason Sheffield, «this is not information that should be available to the public. These are minors». He also noted that his client passed a polygraph test and that the police report did not find male DNA in the areas where the alleged victim claimed the assault occurred.
Kim Zolciak also condemned the «deeply troubling» allegations against her son. In a separate statement, she said that «the allegations against my son are nothing short of reckless and deeply troubling». She emphasized that her son categorically denies any involvement in the incident and that the polygraph results confirm his innocence.
