Who is Lane Kiffin and what children does he have: the story of Ole Miss coach
28 september 2025 в 17:13
Coach Lane Kiffin is one of the most recognizable names in college football. With dozens of victories under his belt with the Rebels, Kiffin has solidified his name in sports history. But above all, he is the father of three children: daughters Landry and Presley, and son Monte, whom he shares with his ex-wife Layla Kiffin.
In September 2025, Lane made headlines when his daughter Landry started dating her presumed boyfriend, LSU linebacker Whit Wicks, and Coach Ole Miss seemed to strike a blow when his team defeated the LSU Tigers.
«We believe in our players, we often go for it on fourth down and are happy to make plays», - Lane said in a post-match interview, adding, «I'm looking for Whit right now to see if we covered the over».
Learn more about Lane’s three children and their family below.
Landry is Coach Kiffin’s eldest child. She was born in December 2004 and lived in Los Angeles when her father was coaching at the University of Southern California. Landry is currently studying business administration at Ole Miss, according to her LinkedIn profile.
Lane’s daughter appeared in the documentary film E60: The Many Lives of Lane Kiffin, and Landry recalled moving to Ole Miss after her father became a coach there.
«I haven’t lived with him since he went to [the University of Alabama]», - Landry said. «We definitely became closer than ever».
When her father was considering taking another coaching job, Landry found a way to convince Lane to stay with the Rebels.
«We and some friends made this slide collage to a song we knew he would find sad, and made him reconsider his decision», - Landry explained in the documentary film. «We went to the office, set it up on the projector screen, and said, 'We have something to show you. Come in here.' Then he sat down, and we played it, and he cried. After that, he told us he would stay, so it worked».
Lane praised his daughter for her strong argument, noting, «Sometimes you need your kids to point out some things to you and just remind you of some things. It was very impressive. I’m not saying I was [leaving] - I had made the decision — but this decision was made for me».
Presley is Lane’s second child. Born in October 2006, she is studying at the University of Southern California, where she also plays volleyball.
Monte, Lane’s youngest child, was born in January 2009. Following in his father’s footsteps, he is aiming for college football, moving from Los Angeles to Mississippi to pursue his goals. Monte has received several offers to join several college teams, including Southern Methodist University, Sacramento State, and the University of Florida
