Quincy Jones enjoyed a successful career as a high-class music and film producer, working in the industry for over 60 years. Born in Chicago in 1933, the late multi-talented artist climbed the ranks of the music industry after dropping out of Berklee College of Music in Boston and starting his tour. By 1964, he was appointed vice president of Mercury Records, making him the first black man to hold such a position in a white-owned company, according to the American Academy of Achievement. Actress Jeri Caldwell and Quincy Jones were married from 1957 to 1966 and welcomed one child together, a daughter named Jolie. Jeri has one acting credit for her role in the 1994 film «Naked Gun 33 1/3: The Final Insult». Little is known about their relationship because it was over 50 years ago, but Quincy once shared how they met in high school during an interview with Oprah Winfrey.

«Jeri approached me first.
