Quinta noted that the romantic relationships between characters will be «shocking», - even in a platonic sense. She added that viewers will see new dynamics in the relationships between characters such as Gregory and Jacob, Gregory and Ava, as well as between Janine and Barbara, Melissa and Barbara, and Mr. Johnson with the others. «We're all in a weird polycule with him this year», - she said.

Chris Perfetti noted that he has never played a character for so long, and it brings him joy. Janelle James added that she does not feel merged with her character, but rather understands her better.
