Dancer and TikTok star Kylie Douglas shared her experience working with talent agency 7M in an exclusive interview on the After Curfew podcast from 10PM Curfew, released on Wednesday, June 26. Speaking with host Jillian Lenny, Kylie revealed that before parting ways with the talent agency, which was accused of misconduct and ties to the controversial Shekinah Church, she asked to meet with Miranda Derrick to say goodbye, but it was not a satisfactory farewell.
Jillian asked Kylie if she had heard from other members of the 7M talent roster after the release of the Netflix documentary «Dancing with the Devil: The TikTok Cult 7M», - and she replied that no one had reached out. She then went on to explain that she had tried to get some closure with Miranda before leaving the organization. «Before leaving, I reached out to Miranda. And, you know, tried to meet her for coffee and just chat with her, even if it wasn’t necessarily about what was happening. I just wanted to at least say goodbye to her», - she said. «I didn’t get that».
Kylie said that although the TikToker responded to her, it was «not the real Miranda» she knew. «It's like there’s a wall between us. And I just felt that. And so I left it at that», - she explained, emphasizing that she hopes for a reunion at some point. «I'll be here when she’s ready to talk to me, but for now I can just support from afar».
In addition to her relationship with Miranda, Kylie also opened up about her own experience working with talent agency 7M and the Shekinah Church, which many call a cult.
