On Tuesday, July 23, the «Glee» alum shared photos of her pregnant belly during a self-care day on her Instagram stories. In her first story, she posed with her belly exposed, covered with a belly mask, saying, «Managed to squeeze in 10 minutes of self-care as soon as Ever fell asleep last night».
In another snap, she added, «Real glamour. Compression gloves, socks, and belly mask from @hatchgal. This is one happy mama!»
Lea had previously talked about the difficulties she faced during her first pregnancy. She told Yahoo Life, «I had a big conversation with the hospital before giving birth, and they give you this thick book with everything to expect during labor in the hospital. It was like a hundred pages — and 95 or 96 pages were about vaginal birth, and only five pages described what to expect with a C-section».
She mentioned that after the procedure, she had to get up and take care of the baby, which was very challenging: «A C-section is a surgery; you’re deeply cut in your abdomen, and, you know, they expect you to [after giving birth] take care of yourself, take care of the baby, and get up on your feet within a day. And that’s incredibly hard».
Furthermore, she revealed that it was difficult for her to «let go of control and just trust»
