Lea Michele candidly spoke about her struggle with infertility before her second pregnancy

While Lea Michele is waiting for the arrival of her second child, she sincerely shared her experiences about several miscarriages before getting pregnant again with her husband Zandy Reich.
The 37-year-old actress, who welcomed her son Ever in 2020, noted that this pregnancy was a completely different experience. During an interview for «BDA Baby» with Katherine Schwarzenegger, Michele discussed her struggle with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), a condition in which a woman’s ovaries enlarge, leading to hormonal imbalances, irregular menstrual cycles, and potentially infertility.
PCOS may have contributed to her two consecutive miscarriages while trying to conceive for the second time. She told Chris Pratt’s wife: «Everything was completely different. I think the journey to conception and everyone’s journey and how incredibly different things can be from one pregnancy to another, it’s just incredible to me. Before getting pregnant with Ever, I was diagnosed with PCOS…»
She continued: «I had never had a miscarriage before… The first time, I thought, 'That was strange.' When it happened again right away, I thought, 'Wait a minute. Something’s not right.'»
After a difficult period, the «Glee» star was finally able to get pregnant with the help of «medications and thousands of shots». However, this pregnancy brought its own set of symptoms and challenges. Unlike her first pregnancy, Michele experienced severe morning sickness this time. She mentioned how she feels «different» during this pregnancy: «With my son, I didn’t have much morning sickness; the early stage was pretty mild. With this one, the beginning was so awful that I thought, 'Oh, my God!' It’s like in the movies where women are throwing up left and right… Now that it’s passed, I feel much better in this strange second half. It’s just completely different — I feel like I look different too; I feel much bigger this time».
As she becomes a mother again, Michele is soon expecting the arrival of a baby girl
