While the Discovery channel has not appointed one celebrity as the host for the entire week, Tom Bergeron will host «Dancing with the Sharks» on July 20.
The former host of «Dancing with the Stars» explained to the Associated Press why he decided to make the leap from the dance floor to the ocean to host the special event during Shark Week.
«I had a decade of experience hosting a dance show, but this was different», - Tom said before the July 2025 program. «I often thought on 'Dancing with the Stars,' wouldn’t it be great if we could incorporate another type of show? And now, my dream has finally come true».
Shark Week airs on the Discovery channel, but if you don’t have cable television, you can watch it on discovery+ or HBO Max with Sling.
