Yes, Lane and Layla remain officially divorced. The couple, who have been rumored to reconcile, announced their divorce in February 2016.

«After careful consideration and weighing, Layla and I mutually decided to divorce», - Lane told Fox Sports at the time. «We are fully committed to the future of our children, which is our top priority. We will maintain friendly relations with respect for each other, raising these three wonderful children. We will not make any further comments and ask to respect the privacy of our family».

It seems like they have! Lane and Layla sparked rumors of reconciliation in early 2025 when the Ole Miss coach posted a photo of Layla on his Instagram Stories on March 1. He also replied to a fan who congratulated him on reuniting with Layla.

«Amazing, Lane», - the fan wrote. «Reuniting with Layla and Knox surpasses everything else you can achieve. Now you can go together. Don’t stop believing». Lane replied «thank you» with a happy smile.

Lane and Layla are raising three children: daughters Landry and Presley and son Monte Knox. Their eldest daughter, Landry, appeared in the documentary film E60: Lane Kiffin’s Many Lives to tell how Lane shared her childhood, even when he moved to Mississippi.

«I haven’t lived with him since he went to [the University of Alabama]», - Landry said, adding, «We definitely became closer than ever».

When Lane was considering taking another coaching position, Landry convinced her father to stay with the Ole Miss Rebels.

«My friends and I made this slide collage to a song we knew he would find sad, and made him reconsider his decision», - Landry said in the documentary. «We came into the office, set it up on the projector screen, and said, 'We have something to show you. Come in here.' Then he sat down, and we played it, and he cried. After that, he told us he would stay, so it worked».

In response, Lane praised his daughter and his children, noting, «Sometimes you need your kids to point something out to you and just remind you of some things. It was very important. I’m not saying I was [going to leave] - I was making a decision — but this decision was made for me»
