Lydia Plat spoke about the traumatic loss of her pregnancy

Reality show participant Lydia Plath from «Welcome to Plathville» shared her difficult experiences following a miscarriage. On her Instagram on October 15, 2023, she revealed that she was hospitalized due to complications related to the loss of her pregnancy, describing the experience as «very traumatic».

Lydia clarified that during the miscarriage, she experienced severe bleeding, which resulted in her undergoing emergency surgery and a blood transfusion. She noted that she is currently recovering. The day before, on October 14, Lydia informed her followers that she had lost her first child, whom she and her husband Zach Wise were eagerly anticipating. In her post, she expressed her sorrow over the loss, referring to the baby as «our greatest love and a true miracle».

Despite the challenging moments, Lydia has not lost hope and mentioned that many people have supported her during this difficult time. She thanked her husband for his boss allowing him more than a week off so he could be by her side. Lydia and Zach got married in February 2025 after a two-month engagement and continue to share their joys and achievements on social media.
