Lili Reinhart and Tom Bateman talked about their new film «Love Hypothesis», - which is an adaptation of the book by Ali Hazelwood. In an interview with «Extra», - the actors discussed how they created natural chemistry on set.
According to Tom, chemistry cannot be artificially created. He noted that the importance of chemistry in acting lies in finding it during the process. Bateman added that they constantly communicated with each other, exchanging thoughts and ideas, which helped them maintain a connection. «When the moment comes, you’re kind of locked in it and become a team», - he emphasized.
The actors also discussed musical references to the character Kylo Ren from «Star Wars» that are present in the film. Lili noted that this was «definitely intentional» on the part of director Clare Scanlon. Tom recalled that someone mentioned it, and he was surprised to learn that they were going to use music by John Williams.
In addition to acting, Lili also served as an executive producer and tried to include elements in the film that fans of the book would recognize. She emphasized that such «little special things» matter.
The film «Love Hypothesis» will be released on Prime Video on September 23.
