Lindsay Lohan met the real Holly Parker from «The Parent Trap» 26 years later

26 years after the release of the movie «The Parent Trap», Lindsay Lohan, 38 years old, met with the real Hallie Parker, whom she portrayed in the classic 1998 film.
A remake of the 1961 film with the same name, Disney’s «The Parent Trap» tells the story of identical twins Hallie Parker and Annie James — both played by Lohan — who accidentally meet at summer camp and plot to reunite their divorced parents.
In a photo from the meeting, Lindsay, who also played the twin Hallie Annie James in the film, looked stunning in a blue and white floral dress and a wide smile. To complete her look, she chose to shield her eyes from the sun with Clubmaster-style sunglasses.
Hallie Meyers-Shyer, who also appeared on screen alongside the actress from the 90s film «Friday the 13th» as one of Hallie and Annie’s camp friends, was dressed in a white t-shirt, linen pants, and a pair of stylish yellow sunglasses.

Back in 2020, Hallie, 36 years old, shared a photo with Lindsay, where they posed in coordinating red, black, and white tracksuits along with Nancy on the set of «The Parent Trap». Along with the photo, Hallie captioned the post: «We wore matching outfits all of 1998».
And Lindsay fondly remembers her role in the film. Back in 2022, she recalled which character was her favorite during filming.
«I wanted to be more like Annie», - she reminisced in a video for Vogue in 2022, «because she was more refined and reserved. She had a more graceful turn that I really liked».
Hallie continued to work in the industry and appeared in films like «What Women Want» and «The Bling Ring». Since then, she followed in her mother’s footsteps with the 2017 film «Home Again», which she both wrote and directed. Her mother, Nancy Meyers, served as a producer on the film with Reese Witherspoon.
