Lisa Vanderpump mourns the death of her father, John Vanderpump. On Wednesday, July 3, the «Vanderpump Rules» star confirmed that the head of her family had passed away.

«I will miss you, dad… With a broken heart», - Lisa, 63, wrote on Instagram with a photo of her father. «Rest in peace. 🙏💗».

Immediately after Lisa shared this news, the Bravo star received words of condolences and support from fans and friends, including Gretchen Rossi, James Kennedy, and Garcelle Beauvais. «So sorry for your loss, Lisa. Sending you lots of love 🙏🏻🩷», - Shayna Shay wrote in the comments. Teresa Giudice from «Real Housewives of New Jersey» added, «So sorry for your loss 🙏🩷».

John and his late wife, Jean Vanderpump, spent most of their lives in Dulwich, South London. In October 2022, Lisa documented her visit to her hometown on social media, writing: «Oh, how wonderful it was to spend time with my dad in England, where he lives… Now home».

Lisa has previously praised her mother and father for giving her a happy childhood, telling Daily Mail: «My parents gave me a great upbringing, but they didn’t give me anything financially, so I always had autonomy in my life».

This is not the first time Lisa has faced a difficult family loss. In 2019, the former «Real Housewives of Beverly Hills» cast member’s mother passed away at the age of 84. After Jean’s death, Lisa took a break from filming «Vanderpump Rules».

«She is asking for privacy at this time as she prepares to travel home to England to arrange the funeral», - a friend told Us Weekly at the time, and a family member added that Lisa was «shocked and devastated».

A year earlier, Lisa’s brother, Mark Vanderpump, took his own life after battling depression. «Losing a brother suddenly, without the chance to close your eyes or talk — it’s like having a relationship ripped from your hands», - Lisa told PEOPLE in 2019. «Grief takes time. I never thought suicide would touch my life. For those left behind, there are many unresolved questions and feelings, like, 'Could I have done something? Should I have done something?' It’s very difficult to cope».
