Luigi Mandjione, a person interested in shooting UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, allegedly comes from a wealthy family. Mandjione was arrested by police in Altoona, Pennsylvania on December 9, 2024, five days after Thompson was shot in the back in New York.
At a press conference that day, the New York Police Department reported that an informant called authorities after seeing Mandjione at a McDonald’s restaurant, realizing he matched the description of the suspected shooter.
