During an interview with The Hamilton Country Reporter in September 2025, Maggie said she started playing the violin at 6 and began singing at 12.

«I started going to Nashville when I was 13, and started writing songs around the same age», - she told the newspaper. «I released my first album when I was 13. I’m actually from South Florida, and there are festivals year-round, so I toured a lot there».
