I played a nun, so that wasn’t something new for me, but playing a detective in New York, the toughest city in the world for that profession—that was the best for me».
The actress also noted that no real firearms were used during filming. Regarding the evolution of her character in the first season, Dolly emphasized that Detective Gonzalez starts off «pretty detached» and «uninterested», - but it is Paula who captures her attention.
