Margaret Qualley and Aaron Pierre discussed their new romantic drama «Love of Your Life» in an interview with Extra. Qualley plays Maya, a young woman who embarks on an epic romance with Charlie (Gabriel Basso), but their relationship falls apart. She travels to Europe, where she meets Felix (Pierre), who questions whether it’s possible to have just one love for a lifetime.
Margaret noted that she was drawn to Maya’s complex emotional journey. She said, «I was really attracted to Maya’s journey, how complicated her relationship with love, loss, grief, and fear is, and ultimately this deeper, radical idea of love».
Aaron, who recently starred in the superhero show «The Lanterns», - shared his thoughts on choosing roles. He remarked, «I strive to follow my heart. I’m guided by what opportunity inspires me the most. It’s not about genre or format; it’s just a project that speaks to me the most at that moment. And at that moment, it was 'Love of Your Life.'»
Aaron and Margaret met on the film set, and he described their first scene as «perfect». He recounted, «We immediately dove into the work and the characters, and I think our first scene was the one where we go to a party… It was perfect for a first scene because Maya is about to enter a situation she’s never been in, and Felix is also facing something new».
Qualley also praised Pierre, noting his elegance and sincerity.
The film «Love of Your Life» is currently in limited release and will be available on Prime Video on October 14.
