During the last episode of the 50th season of Saturday Night Live, the show welcomed another star into its prestigious «Five-Timers Club» — Martin Short! The comedian and actor from the series «Only Murders in the Building» officially hosted the show for the fifth time, and he received a funny welcome from several members of the Five-Timers Club in the December 2024 episode.

Martin had previously been a cast member on SNL. In the December 2024 episode, Martin was joined by several members of the Five-Timers Club, including Alec Baldwin, Emma Stone, Melissa McCarthy, and Kristen Wiig. His longtime friend, Steve Martin, was not there for this episode, but he is also a member of the group.

Even Jimmy Fallon was there to welcome Martin with his honorary Five-Timers Club jacket. The late-night host joked, «I would like to present you with the official Five-Timers Club jacket, in your size: women’s small».
