Led by a coalition of progressive groups, the «No Kings» movement aims to peacefully protest against Donald Trump and his administration.

The goal of the «No Kings» rally is «to fight against dictatorship», - according to information on the demonstration’s website.
«'No Kings' is more than just a slogan; it is the foundation upon which our nation is built», - the site explains. «Born on the streets, shouted by millions, carried on signs and slogans, it resonates from urban neighborhoods to rural squares, uniting people across the country in the fight against dictatorship. Because this country does not belong to kings, dictators, or tyrants. It belongs to Us, the People — those who care, who show up, and who fight for dignity, a livable life, and real opportunities. No thrones. No crowns. No kings».
Organizers reported that over 3,100 protests were registered across all 50 states, which is 500 more rallies than in October 2025. It is estimated that between 8 to 9 million people participated in the protest on March 28, 2026, which is about 2 million more than the previous demonstration.
Several celebrities attended the «No Kings» protests on March 28, 2026, including Jane Fonda, Robert De Niro, Al Sharpton, and Bruce Springsteen.
Fonda, who attended the rally in St. Paul, Minnesota, read a statement from the wife of Rene Good about «radical kindness». Good was fatally shot in January by a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent in Minneapolis during an operation enforcing federal immigration policy.
It is unclear when the next «No Kings» demonstration will take place
