Mattel feels ominous with the launch of its new Barbie dolls Glinda and Elphaba!
Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande, stars of the upcoming movie set to be released on Thanksgiving, collaborated in an Instagram post to reveal the news of the new dolls entering the Barbie world. As they embodied their characters, they showcased their dolls: Glinda adorned in a long pink dress with puffy shoulders, while Elphaba displayed her uniqueness in a green and black dress with long sleeves, boots, and her witch hat.
«What a dream come true to be Elphaba and Glinda in the form of cute little dolls. Little Cynthia and little Ari are thrilled», - wrote the 37-year-old actress about their miniature singing embodiments.
Although the dolls have not been released yet, Mattel noted in the comments that «more is coming».
