Matthew McConaughey posted a photo to mark his 12th wedding anniversary with his wife Camila Alves on Instagram on Sunday, June 9th. «Thank you #happyanniversary», - captioned the 54-year-old actor.

The star of the movie «Interstellar» and Camila first got married in 2012, with many Hollywood stars in attendance such as Reese Witherspoon, Kenny Chesney, Woody Harrelson, and others. Since then, they have raised three children — Levi, Vida, and Livingston. «Our real merit is in how we strive to be as people, as parents, how we love you, how we love each other… but we try to do everything we can», - Matthew told People magazine in 2020.
Matthew recalled the moment he saw his lady and felt that he had never intended to find «the one» before. «She was moving side to side in front of my eyes in this club. And introduced myself… When I tried to get [her] attention across the room, I thought, 'This is not the woman you call across the room, McConaughey. Get up from your chair and go to her.' He added that he admires Camila as a true example, noting, «the self-respect she had, how I understood her and her relationships with her family, how she respected me, but never took anything for granted, never pretended in anything».
The happy couple now lives in Austin, Texas, after deciding to move there from Malibu, California, in 2014. «We lived a happy life in Malibu… We had a beautiful home that we built together and put a lot of love and care into. We raised our children there. I grew everything on the property. I had bees producing honey», - they shared with Southern Living in March
