Maurizio Umansky spoke about his exit from the show «Special Forces»
Maurizio Umansky spoke in an interview with «Extra» about his experience participating in the show «Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test», - from which he had to withdraw due to an injury. He noted that his departure was «sudden», - as he sustained a rib injury while fighting Matt Barnes.

Umansky shared that he was unable to participate in the gas chamber challenge, as it could have led to serious consequences. He expressed regret about his exit, stating that he «felt very sad» for not being able to finish the competition and leave his partner, Alexia, in a difficult moment. According to him, he is no stranger to pain and is used to tough challenges, but this time he could not continue.

He also talked about the reaction of his ex-wife Kyle Richards to his participation in the show. She considered his decision «crazy» and was not pleased that he involved Alexia in it. However, according to Maurizio, Kyle supported Alexia by providing her with a positive mindset.

Umansky expressed pride in Alexia, who opened up on the show about the sexual abuse she experienced seven years ago. He noted that it is a difficult story to process, especially for a father, and expressed regret that she had carried it for so long.

Additionally, Maurizio is preparing to become a grandfather: his stepdaughter Farra Brittany Aldjufri is expecting a baby in November. He happily announced that he will become a grandfather «in less than a month» and is ready for new adventures with the family’s first grandchild.

There are also rumors that Umansky is considering a foray into politics and may run for mayor of Los Angeles. He noted that he loves Los Angeles and believes the city needs help, adding that he has the skills and desire to assist.
