«Mike experienced some sort of medical emergency on the plane, and medics arrived», - an eyewitness told In Touch on Monday, May 27. «Before the medics arrived, the plane announced the need for a doctor — the message even appeared on the screens of all passengers».
The eyewitness clarified that Mike was sitting in first class, and all passengers were asked to «stay on the plane» after landing so that the medics could come in.
«[The flight attendant then] said something like, 'He is a very important passenger, so we want to make sure he is okay,'» the eyewitness claimed. «I knew it was him, but just whispered the words 'Mike Tyson,' and she nodded».
Representatives of the athlete stated that Mike is «feeling great» after the emergency.
