Michael Longfellow made his debut in the first episode of the 48th season of «Saturday Night Live» at the «Weekend Update» desk. Throughout the 2022 season, Michael, Molly Kearney, Marcelo Hernandez, and Devon Walker were added to the SNL cast. However, three years later, Devon and Michael confirmed their departures from the comedy series before the premiere of the 51st season.

«I won’t be returning for the 4th season of SNL», - Michael captioned a photo on Instagram. «I wish I could, but it didn’t work out. These have been the best three years of my life so far. I feel nothing but gratitude for the experience and everyone there. Lorne, you gave me the best job in the world and changed my life. You even showed my mom on TV. Thank you — it’s an understatement, but thank you. I will miss all of this, but most of all I will miss the friends I found and saw every day».

Michael attends comedy festivals and clubs around the world to perform his stand-up shows.

Michael was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. Eventually, he moved to Los Angeles, where he began his comedy career.

Michael was one of eight comedians selected for the «Introducing…» show at the Netflix Is A Joke festival in early 2022. His 7-minute segment was full of funny jokes that resonated with the audience. He was the fifth up-and-coming comedian to perform on the show hosted by Mo Amer.

Michael was a contestant on the NBC competition show «Bring the Funny», - which aired in 2019. Hosted by Amanda Seales, the show featured comedy acts performing in front of an audience to win $ 250,000. Michael was eliminated in the 9th week and placed 7th. Ironically, one of the judges was Kenan Thompson.
