Michael Cera debuted a new hairstyle that really brought some «Kennergy» to the 2024 Tribeca Film Festival in New York on Saturday, June 8th.

He recalled his audition story in an interview with GQ last year, saying: «It was a pretty sudden casting… My manager got a call checking my availability for it, and he called me and said, 'I got a call about this movie. It’s a Barbie movie. Greta Gerwig is directing it, and it’s shooting in London for four months or something, so I told them you probably wouldn’t want to do it because you probably wouldn’t want to go to London… I was like, 'What! Call them back!' He didn’t ruin anything, but he said, 'I managed their expectations that you probably wouldn’t want to do it.' I was like, 'How could I not do this? I have to do this!'»
