In her Instagram Stories, she posted a clip showing her son, Prince Archie, and daughter, Princess Lilibet, walking down a path. Archie, who is 7 years old, is holding a pastel blue backpack and riding a skateboard, while Lilibet, 5 years old, walks alongside with a pink backpack.
The video features the song «My Girl» by The Temptations, which Meghan and Harry danced to at their wedding reception in 2018. It is worth noting that two years later, the couple stepped back from their roles as senior working members of the royal family and moved to California. In August, it was announced that Harry and Meghan were returning to the UK so their children could start attending a British school in the fall.
However, shortly after the school year began, reports emerged that the children had changed schools due to safety concerns. A representative for the Sussexes told Hello! magazine that the decision to transfer the children was made after discussions with the family’s security team. The statement emphasized that the parents are grateful to all the teachers and staff for their care of the family and that this decision is not related to the quality of education at the previous school.
Later in September, several foreign photographers were spotted on the grounds of Archie and Lilibet’s new school. A representative for Harry and Meghan commented on the situation, noting that there is a significant difference between legitimate journalistic activity and the actions of photographers who follow children on school grounds. He described such actions as «extremely reckless» and emphasized that they constitute an unacceptable invasion of the children’s privacy.
