Mary Lou is the mother of four daughters — Sheila Ray Kelley, 23, Makenna Lane Kelley, 21, Skyla Rae Kelley, 18, and Emma Jin Kelley, 16, all of whom are athletes. Daughter Makenna is following in her mother’s footsteps and is a gymnast. Although stress fractures in her legs have prevented her from competing at a national level, she still competes at the university level at LSU, where she is studying.
