Metallica Harrison arrested for the murder of her husband and son

27-year-old Metallica Harrison was arrested and charged with two counts of homicide after allegedly killing her husband Charles and their three-year-old son Tristan during a trip to the Great Wolf Lodge hotel in Scotrun, Pennsylvania.
According to Charles’s stepmother, April Tetga, Metallica used her husband’s retirement savings to fund a three-week trip, which she called an early Christmas gift for their son. She also spent money on kitchen renovations and other expenses. The family arrived at the hotel on September 21, extended their booking on October 5, and planned to check out on October 13.
Tetga noted that the couple’s financial decisions were strange, but the family was not overly concerned about the trip. She recalled that she had a video call with Metallica the day before the tragedy, during which she expressed her love for her family.
On Monday, October 12, Metallica called emergency services, stating that she wanted to die and that her «husband and son were already gone». The bodies of Charles and Tristan were found in their hotel room, while Metallica was discovered with injuries to her wrist and neck. Investigators found two knives that did not belong to the hotel, as well as several bottles of medication and containers with blood at the scene.
It is currently unclear whether Metallica has entered a plea or hired an attorney following her arrest. The investigation is ongoing.
