Mikayla Matthews has confirmed her decision not to return to the show «Sister Wives» after Taylor Frankie Paul seemingly announced her departure from the project. Mikayla, responding to fan questions about a possible return to filming, noted that her reason for leaving was Taylor’s return in the sixth season.
«To your question… No, I will not be coming back», - Mikayla wrote in her Instagram Stories, adding a selfie. She explained that everyone should do what is best for them and that she was the only one who decided to leave the show for many reasons, including recent events.
Mikayla also expressed dissatisfaction with how her issues were handled and emphasized that her concerns had not changed. «I feel like I reached out to the right people and tried multiple times to address my issues. There’s a lot that’s not right in this situation», - she added.
Mikayla announced her departure on September 14, citing concerns about Taylor’s return, who is in the process of resolving custody issues with her former partners. On Monday, Taylor seemingly confirmed her exit from the show and accused her castmates of online bullying.
«I am grateful to all the networks that supported me and gave me the opportunity to come back. However, I do not want to continue in this manner», - Taylor wrote on Instagram. She also noted that some cast members were aware of her struggles but continued to attack her, which she considers unacceptable.
