Miley Cyrus shared her thoughts on the possibility of having children during a new interview for W magazine. «I'm 31 now, and I still don’t know if I want children or not», - said the singer of the hit «Flowers» in the publication on Monday, June 3.
«I feel like my fans are somehow my children», - Miley added. «I love being an adult. I have a rule that I don’t look up or down on anyone. I just look at what allows me to see the world as it is, and people as they are. I look at myself almost every day in the mirror and say, 'I am a woman'».
Miley’s fans have supported her since she got her role in the series «Hannah Montana». Throughout the 2000s and 2010s, Miley became a musical and pop culture icon. After ending her show on the Disney Channel in 2011, the Tennessee native released several albums and starred in several movies, including «The Last Song» with her ex-husband Liam Hemsworth.
Since fans haven’t seen Miley on the big or small screen for several years, she told the publication that she «would like to act again».
«But the role really has to be right, because people find it hard to accept me and believe in the character», - she explained. «The character needs to either be an extension of myself, or someone — or something — with a personality capable of overcoming mine. I need a character that is bigger than me».
Although there are currently no films in which she would star, Miley’s music career reached new heights earlier this year. In February, she won her first Grammy award, one for Record of the Year and another for Best Pop Solo Performance.
