During a previous interview with The Sunday Times, the actress from «Stranger Things» opened up about her romance with Jake. She recalled thinking that Jake «would become a huge part of [her] life» immediately after they met.
«I ran to my mom and said, 'I really, really like him!'» Millie said. «After we met, we knew we never wanted to leave each other. You can’t exactly say why [someone is 'the one'], it’s just a feeling that this is the person you want to spend the rest of your life with».
The Netflix star added that «so much in life is overanalyzed», - but «the only thing that was clear to [her] was [Jake]».
«So I didn’t have to think much», - Millie added.
Millie and Jake got married in May 2024 at a private wedding. Shortly after they got married, Jake’s father, Jon Bon Jovi, confirmed that the couple are officially husband and wife.
«They're wonderful. They’re absolutely fantastic», - said the rock star «Livin' on a Prayer» on the BBC The One Show. «It was a very small family wedding, and the bride looked beautiful, and Jake was happier than ever».
Later that same year, the spouses shared photos from their wedding ceremony on Instagram. Millie captioned her post: «Forever and ever, your wife».
