Minka Kelly and Imagine Dragons frontman Dan Reynolds have reportedly split after four years together. This was reported by several outlets, including TMZ and People, on October 7.
Several months before the breakup, Kelly, 46, spoke fondly of Reynolds, 39, in a social media post. In July, she wrote on Instagram: «Thank you for making ordinary days extraordinary, for making me laugh until I cry, and for your deep and free love. Celebrating you is one of my favorite things to do. I love you, Dan. Happy birthday ♥️».
Kelly and Reynolds met through a mutual friend in 2022 after his divorce from Aja Volkman. At that time, the couple communicated over the phone before agreeing to share their projects. For Kelly, it was her memoir «Tell Me Everything», - while Reynolds was working on his band’s album «Loom».
Reynolds recalled that Kelly suggested sharing their works despite the vulnerability of that step. He noted that this experience brought them closer and helped them understand each other better.
The couple was first spotted together in November 2022 at an Italian restaurant in Los Angeles. Later, Reynolds made an unexpected cameo in Kelly’s Netflix show «Ransom Canyon», - where he helped her prepare for her role by teaching her to play the piano.
Previously, Reynolds was married to Volkman from 2011 to 2024, and they have four children: 14-year-old Arrow, 9-year-old twins Gia and Coco, and 7-year-old Valentin.
