The United States gathers some of the most talented artists from around the world every year, all striving to take their careers to the next level. One of these artists is Argentine musical composer Miranda Fontana, who moved from Argentina to Boston at the age of 19 to study at the world’s most prestigious music school — Berklee College of Music.

Miranda recently showcased her collaborative spirit by working as a co-author and vocalist for the soundtrack of the film «We Are Just Ghosts», - directed by Kavivamen Vingesvaran. The film’s main song, «Hold Me Tonight», - written by Joyce O, presented a unique challenge for Fontana, who took on the project at the special request of her friend and colleague.

«This project was a unique challenge, as it’s not something I usually do, but Joyce’s request made it special», - Fontana said. «Film is a very collaborative field, and I learned a lot about teamwork and collaborating with other extremely talented artists. It was one of the most valuable experiences in my career, and I truly enjoy and learn from it».

Currently, Miranda is working with 59T Studios, led by director Juan Lamarka, on a series of commercials for Armani and Ocean Harbor. «I am very grateful to Juan for the trust he has shown me with this project. I am working on it with great intensity and passion. Working with him is also enjoyable because he is an extremely talented director, and we have great working dynamics», - Fontana commented. The commercials, shot in Miami with a significant team, are currently in post-production.

In addition to commercial projects, Miranda Fontana is deeply immersed in a personal endeavor — her upcoming EP album. This project, on which she has been working for some time, holds a special place in her heart as it focuses on personal experiences and allows music to flow naturally. «These past years have been a rollercoaster of emotions, and my goal is to express this through my music. The album will be mostly instrumental, blending orchestral and electronic sounds, and will include collaborations with artistic friends I have been fortunate to connect with throughout my career», - Fontana shared.

Fontana’s impressive portfolio includes compositions for television commercials in Argentina, collaborations with major companies such as Coca-Cola and LG Electronics, as well as work with production giants like Warner Bros Pictures and HBO Max. These experiences have allowed her to explore various aspects of composition and strengthen her career in the music industry.

After moving to the US, Fontana returned to Argentina to contribute to the film «Un Crimen Argentino». She was responsible for the music and sound design of this feature film, adapted from the novel of the same name by Reynaldo Sietecase. Working with an outstanding cast, including Malena Sanchez, Nico Franchella, and Matias Mayer, under the direction of Lucas Combina and the overall production of Juan Pablo Buscarini (Pampa Films), as well as Warner Pictures Entertainment, Fontana’s work was a key factor in the film’s success. The film, released for HBO Max, received awards such as the Condor de Plata and Premio Sur, as well as positive reviews from major newspapers.
