Miss Thailand Veena Praveenar Singh: The path to success at the Miss Universe competition

Although the Miss Universe competition ended with the victory of Miss Mexico Fatima Boš, Miss Thailand Vina Pravinar Singh finished the competition with dignity, taking second place. Originally from Thailand, she has participated in several beauty pageants and represented her home country this year when she hosted the 2025 event.
«I gave my all on that stage, carrying the pride and honor of representing Thailand completely», - Vina captioned a post on Instagram in November 2025 after the competition. «Today, I am sincerely grateful for bringing home the title of 1st runner-up for everyone in Thailand. Although I did not bring home the crown I hoped for, I poured my heart and soul into every stage of this journey».
Adding that she will «continue to fulfill the duties that come with this honorable title, especially in creating meaningful impact and inspiring others through her project, SHERO», - Vina congratulated the new Miss Universe, Fatima, and the other women who made it to the top 5.
«I admire each of them, and the strength, grace, and power they brought to this stage», - Vina concluded. «Thank you, sincerely, from the bottom of my heart».

The 2025 competition was not Vina’s first. She had previously participated in the «Miss Universe Saraburi 2025», - «Miss Universe Thailand 2025», - «Miss Universe Thailand 2018», - where she placed second, «Miss Universe Thailand 2020» as the first runner-up, and «Miss Universe Thailand 2023» as the second runner-up.
Vina was born on April 16, 1996, making her 29 years old by 2025.
Miss Thailand speaks three languages! According to NationThailand, as a graduate of Thammasat University with a degree in Russian language from the Faculty of Liberal Arts, Vina speaks English, Russian, and Thai.
In 2022, Vina married her husband, Harncharoen Singtakvarla, a businessman in e-commerce and digital technologies, according to NationThailand. He also founded the agency INSPIRIO
