NeNe Leakes and Phaedra Parks discuss support for Kim Zolciak
Stars of the show «The Real Housewives of Atlanta», - Nene Leakes and Phaedra Parks, spoke about their communication with former colleague Kim Zolciak after her son, Kroy Jagger «KJ» Biermann Jr., was accused of serious crimes, including sexual assault and sodomy.

Nene Leakes told Us that she and Kim exchanged messages right after the incident. «I reached out to her because I’m a mom. She’s a mom. And I know that parents always understand each other», - Leakes noted. She added that she wanted to support Zolciak during this difficult time.

On October 5, Us confirmed that Zolciak’s 15-year-old son pleaded not guilty to seven charges, including sexual assault and sodomy. Biermann was arrested in August for his alleged involvement in an incident with a minor at a local gym. He was subsequently charged with aggravated child molestation, aggravated sexual assault, sodomy, false imprisonment, and three counts of sexual assault against a child under 16.

After the arrest, investigators found videos on Biermann’s phone that allegedly showed him and a minor family member engaging in sexual activity. Prosecutors also discovered evidence of «multiple encounters» in which Biermann used «predatory and demeaning» language towards the victim. Biermann has not yet commented on the new allegations.

In her statement following her son’s arrest, Kim Zolciak said that the accusations against him are «nothing short of reckless and deeply disturbing». She emphasized that her son passed a polygraph test and that no DNA belonging to him was found. Zolciak also noted that false accusations can have devastating consequences not only for the accused but also for actual victims of sexual violence.

Phaedra Parks also confirmed that she had communicated with Zolciak, adding that «Kim is very resilient». She expressed her support and emphasized that «no one knows the whole truth» and that in their judicial system, a person is considered innocent until proven guilty.
