The new life of the newlyweds turned out to be sexual — and sometimes scary — for Nick Viall and Natalie Joy. Four months after the birth of their first child, the couple revealed in an episode of the podcast «The Viall Files» on June 4th that they recently faced a frightening moment during pregnancy.
«I was just nauseous for several mornings in a row, and I was vomiting», - said Natalie, 25. «I thought I had a stomach bug. I talked to my mom about it, and she asked if I was pregnant».
Although Natalie’s initial thought was absolutely not, she also realized: «We had just come back from our honeymoon». After a sleepless night, she decided to take a pregnancy test.
«We were tense, we were very nervous», - admitted Nick, 43. «Of course, we had talked about expanding our family, but damn. Forget about my worries — Natalie has been through so much, and I was already thinking, 'Oh my God, I’m in for it.'»
Although Natalie found out she was not pregnant, she reminded herself of some questions her doctor had asked her at a recent appointment five weeks after giving birth. «I had never taken contraceptives in my life», - said Natalie. «The doctor said, 'Either you need to use condoms, or Nick needs to be very good at the 'pull-out' method.' I said, 'I think he’s pretty good.'»
Nick added, «We had just gotten married. Condoms? No. I’ll handle it».
While Natalie joked that she would be more chaste in the future, Nick explained that «we're in the game, the game has begun».
Last month, Natalie marveled at her new chapter in life as a mother. She then called parenting better than she could have expected.
«She's perfect», - she told Morning Honey in May. «I couldn’t make or imagine a more perfect child. She’s everything I could ever wish for. … She will know how to conquer the world, and I can’t wait to see what kind of woman she becomes. It’s all happening too fast. How is she almost four months old? It’s madness!»
As for her husband, Natalie must give credit to «The Bachelor» star for his involvement. «He loves her just as much as I do, and I know he has the same intentions as me», - she said. «He has changed way more dirty diapers than I have! He wakes up in the middle of the night. He loves fatherhood, and it’s so cute to watch»
