So far, Prime Video has not announced the release date for the second season. However, showrunner Liz Sarnoff mentioned in an interview in March 2026 that the crew is «diving into two new works for the second season, and we start filming next week [March 9, 2026]».
«I think of the show this way: in the past [time frame], we focus more on the procedural narrative and stay with the case, while in the present, we take some detours regarding their emotional lives and family life», - Liz continued. «We pick up right where we left off in 1×08, in the present time at the beginning of the second season, to show all the mysteries we left behind, but by the end of the episode, we are fully immersed in a new case involving a child abduction, so it’s very exciting».
