Nicole «Snooki» Polizzi announced that she is cancer-free following a hysterectomy. She shared this news in an interview with People magazine, noting that all tumors were removed.
In February, Nicole revealed her diagnosis of cervical cancer, and seven months after the surgery, she shared the positive news. According to her, «as of now, I am cancer-free. They removed everything. I’m definitely happy I did it». Polizzi admitted that she had long avoided going to the doctor, and when she finally decided to go, she had to undergo numerous procedures, including a hysterectomy.
Nicole is on the road to recovery and is trying to listen to her body. She mentioned that she sometimes feels fatigued, but overall, she feels better and is almost back to her previous state. Despite the possibility of cancer returning, she will undergo regular check-ups every three months.
Polizzi also shared that the cancer diagnosis was very frightening for her, and she felt alone in this situation. She wants to use her platform to support women facing similar challenges. In this regard, she will host the 100th anniversary event for the charity organization F Cancer on September 23 in Los Angeles. Nicole expressed her joy and pride in being able to participate in this event and hear the stories of others who have experienced cancer.
