Nicholas Galitzine has become the latest heartthrob of the internet. After his breakthrough role in Camila Cabello’s «Cinderella», - he quickly became a heartthrob — especially now that he starred alongside Anne Hathaway in «The Last Thing He Wanted». However, the 29-year-old actor has also played gay characters throughout his career, which he discussed in a new interview, admitting that he feels «guilt» because he identifies as straight.
«I identify as a straight man, but I have been part of incredible gay stories», - he told GQ magazine in an interview published on Wednesday, May 8. «Sometimes I felt some uncertainty about whether I am taking someone’s place, and perhaps guilt».
However, Nicholas sees his performances as three-dimensional, not just focusing on one characteristic, including sexuality.

The English actor is currently starring alongside Julianne Moore in «Mary and George», - where he plays George Villiers, who has a sexual relationship with James VI. However, his most famous gay character is Prince Henry from «Red, White and Royal Blue», - which was released last year.
Discussing his burgeoning film career, Nicholas noted that he is interested in men who are «captivated» by the concept of masculinity.
«I was a very scared young man. And I think many men are really scared», - he pointed out. «I think they are afraid of their own death. I think they are afraid of being exposed. In masculinity, there is this idea that you must control and be confident in everything».
