Noah Wyle has been named the «Sexiest Man Alive» by People magazine in 2026. The actor admitted that he couldn’t believe it, saying, «I thought it was a joke — I never would have thought this would be an honor bestowed upon me».
According to Wyle, his wife Sarah convinced him to accept the title. He shared, «She thinks I’m a good person and that the man I am and the father I am is worth promoting. I thought, 'Okay, if you say so.'» Wyle added that Sarah was very pleased that it reflects her taste well.
The actor also shared romantic moments from their relationship, recounting how, at the beginning of their acquaintance, he created gifts for Sarah when they couldn’t be together. He made books with photos and mementos they collected on dates, as well as drawing and writing poems.
Wyle talked about life at home and the division of household responsibilities. He noted that he does the dishes, which he considers a therapeutic activity. «You can just zone out and think about anything while you’re doing the dishes», - he said. Additionally, he cooks half of the meals and shares responsibility for the dog and raising the children.
The actor has two children from a previous marriage — Owen (24) and Oden (21) — as well as an 11-year-old daughter, Frances, with Sarah. He shared his older children’s reactions to the news of the title: Owen said it would complicate his life, while Oden exclaimed, «No, no, no». Wyle is sure she will tease him about it for the next 50 years.
Now 55, Wyle shares this title with his colleague from the series «ER», - George Clooney. Wyle expressed hope that Clooney would be happy for him and feel like a «proud dad».
