Noah Cyrus can’t stand internet gossip. The 24-year-old pop singer came across a commentator on Instagram who mentioned rumors of drama between Noah and her mother, Tish Cyrus, related to Tish’s new husband, Dominic Persell. Before the weekend, the «All Falls Down» singer posted a carousel with her fiancé, Pinkus, captioned: «Dear Lord, when I get to heaven, please let me take my man with me».
«Is he the same guy you and your mom have sex with [sic]?» wrote this troll on social media, to which Noah replied: «hey, real grandma, I’m so sorry, but can you please just choke on the thickest d***. At least for a little bit. Thank you very much [sic]».
Although Noah did not name Tish, 56, or Dominic, 54, this was the first time anyone from the Cyrus family publicly reacted to the reported drama between mother and daughter.
In March, several sources reported that Noah and Dominic had a relationship before he started dating Tish. The couple got married in August 2023. At the time, fans noticed that Noah did not attend their wedding, although Noah’s famous sister, Miley Cyrus, was there. A source told Entertainment Tonight: «Noah and Tish have not been close since Tish started dating Dominic. Tish did not invite Noah to her wedding because she thought it would cause a scandal and drama».
Us Weekly also reported that Noah was «very upset that Tish took Dominic away from her».
At this year’s Grammy Awards ceremony, viewers noticed that Miley did not mention Noah in her acceptance speech after winning Record of the Year. Previously, it seemed that they had a close bond as sisters, as Noah even took the stage with Miley several times.
