Nominations for the 2026 Critics Choice Awards have officially opened the awards season, presenting an extensive list of contenders in the fields of film and television. Ryan Coogler’s film «The Sinners» led the pack with 17 nominations, nearly matching the record for the most nominations. Several key nominations were also received by Paul Thomas Anderson’s «One Battle After Another», - Netflix’s «Frankenstein», - and the historical drama «Hamnet». In the television category, the series «Teenagers» garnered the most nominations—six—while popular shows like «Abbott Elementary», - «The Diplomat», - and «Severance» were also recognized in various categories.
