Jaden Daniels recently helped the Washington Commanders team defeat the Cincinnati Bengals. After the «Monday Night» game with a score of 38−33, Daniels became the talk of the evening. The quarterback recently joined the team and the NFL. So who is he and how did the guidance of a rookie player bring success?

Hollywood Life magazine gathered five facts about Jaden below.

Originally from California, Jaden began his professional football career in 2024. After the start of the season in the fall, Jaden helped the Commanders win two out of the first three games of the season.

After the Commanders' victory over the Bengals in September 2024, Jaden’s teammates spoke highly of their quarterback, including teammate Nick Allegretti.

«It's amazing how calm he is, but it’s not surprising», - Nick said, referring to ESPN. «It's just the situation. What am I going to do? Panic and mess everything up? He’s not like that. It’s just the situation. Let’s get 11 guys in a circle. Let’s call a play… He’s as calm as any rookie I’ve seen at the toughest position in football. If this guy is tense, everyone else is tense. So maybe he’s not doing it intentionally, but his calmness calms the whole offense».

Jaden was the second of six quarterbacks selected in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft.

While attending Cajon High School in San Bernardino, California, Jaden helped the team reach the CIF Southern Section Inland Division playoffs.

In 2019, Jaden played for the Arizona State University «Sun Devils» as a quarterback until 2021. From 2022 to 2023, he studied and played for the Louisiana State University «Tigers».

Visiting his high school in 2024, the Cajon stadium was renamed in honor of Jaden. According to reports, he reacted to seeing the new stadium name by saying, «Just to have a stadium with my name on it — that’s cool and something I never could have dreamed of. I’m proud to be from San Bernardino».

According to The Athletic, Jaden uses a German virtual flight simulator for his training technique
