Who is ready to get slimed this year? Some of our favorite stars will be on the orange carpet at the annual Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards ceremony in Los Angeles, and this time the show is expected to be even more slimy!
According to Nickelodeon’s Vice President of Unscripted Current Series, Paul Medford, the 2025 ceremony will use 5000 gallons of slime — much more than in previous years.
«This year we are abandoning the traditional tropes of the awards ceremony, and throwing the biggest slime party in the slime warehouse», - Paul told The Hollywood Reporter journalists before the KCAs began. «Slime is mentioned everywhere, and the goal was to turn Barker Hanger into this fantastic warehouse… The most inspiring idea came from early conversations when we were trying to create something that resembled a raging party. For this, we rearranged the audience around the room — everything happens in 360 degrees. All the action takes place in front of a live audience from all sides».
Hollywood Life breaks down everything you need to know about how to watch the show, when it starts, and who is nominated below:
The 2025 KCAs will take place on Saturday, June 20, at Barker Hanger in Santa Monica, California.
