New details about the future of the show «Vanderpump Rules» are becoming known. While filming for the Bravo channel show usually takes place in the summer, production of the 12th season has reportedly been postponed.

Regardless of whether filming for «Vanderpump Rules» is happening or not, most of the actors have busy schedules ahead of them. Katie Maloney and Ariana Madix will be opening their sandwich shop in West Hollywood called «Something She» on May 22. Ariana will also replace Sarah Hyland as the host of the show «Love Island USA». Filming is expected to take place this summer in a tropical location. As for La La Kent, she is currently expecting her second child, who is due to be born on September 1.

According to TMZ, which first reported this news, Bravo has decided to give the actors a little break and allow their lives to «breathe» a bit after the scandal. The end of season 10 and most of season 11 focused on the breakup of Tom Sandoval and Ariana after it was revealed that he cheated on her with her close friend and co-star Raquel «Raquel» Leviss.

The publication also emphasized that Bravo is not planning to cancel the show at this time. Hollywood Life reached out to Bravo for comment.

Fans have been speculating about Ariana’s future on the show since her breakup with Tom. During the promotion of her book «Single AF Cocktails» at the Los Angeles Book Festival in April, the author shared her thoughts on returning for future seasons.

«I, of course, won’t say [about my future], but I think ultimately it has to make sense for me», - she told the audience at the University of Southern California. «Our show has always thrived. It’s always been at its peak when it’s been the most authentic and real, and I need to be able to show up and be real and authentic for it to make sense for me, and that’s the question I would ask myself before starting that».

In March 2024, Bravo aired the first episode of «The Valley». The show follows a group of close friends who trade in bottles at a West Hollywood bar for baby bottles in the Valley. According to Deadline, the show will not be affected by the short break of «Vanderpump Rules» and will continue its planned production.

Although Bravo has not confirmed a second season yet, «The Valley» received the best audience for a premiere on Bravo in almost ten years. In an episode of their podcast «Balancing» on April 27, Kristen Doute and Luke Broderick expressed hope for a future crossover show of the first season.

«We don’t know if we’ll have a reunion», - admitted Kristen, 41. «I'll be honest with you. I really feel like when you see the finale, there will be some unanswered questions and unresolved issues».

«Vanderpump Rules» airs on Tuesdays at 8:00 PM on Bravo, followed by «The Valley». Episodes are available for viewing the next day on Peacock
