The singer also posted a teaser video on her social media with flickering lights and shots of Gaga and the album title. During the upcoming Grammy Awards ceremony on February 2, Gaga will premiere a new music video featuring one of the singles from the album.
The artist gave fans a sneak peek of what to expect from the new album. Gaga shared: «The album started with me facing my fear of returning to the pop music that my early fans loved». She said it was a journey of «putting together a broken mirror». Gaga continued: «Even if you can’t perfectly piece the pieces back together, you can create something beautiful and whole in your own new way», - according to Billboard.
The new album will contain 14 tracks, so get your dancing shoes ready for a party! Although the song titles have not been revealed, the singer confirmed that the new album will be in the pop genre. She explained that it was her fiancé Michael Polanski who encouraged her to move forward with this sound. Gaga provided more information about her new album to the Los Angeles Times: «[The album] jumps across genres in a way that’s almost corrupted. And it ends with love. That’s the answer to all the chaos in my life, it’s what I find peace in love. Every song I wrote, I just kept drifting into these different dreams I had about the past — almost like a memory of all those bad decisions I made in my life».
