Maybe it’s already 2025, but some of us still proudly represent Team Edward or Team Jacob. Regardless of which side you’re on, the new Lego release heals all of our inner children. Learn more about the incredible new Lego set below!
Everyone’s favorite toy company, Lego, has announced its new edition — Twilight: Cullen House. Excuse us while we catch our breath from the incredible news.
The Lego Twilight set includes 2001 pieces and 7 minifigures, according to the official Lego website. The minifigures will include the main characters, as well as Carlisle, Esme, Alice, and Charlie. We won’t judge if you don’t include either Jacob or Edward in your set. The house perfectly resembles the house from the movie, with its three-story, futuristic cottage-like appearance. The set also includes a red truck and a tree to use according to your imagination. Even the furniture inside, such as a piano and a bookshelf, is done in Edward’s style. The nostalgia is sure to inspire all millennials for an upcoming Twilight marathon.
The Lego Twilight set will cost you $ 219.99.
It will be officially released on February 4th, but if you pre-order it today, it will be shipped starting from February 1st, 2025. As an additional gift for Twilight fans who pre-order the set, you will also receive a two-hour Lego remake of Twilight, using the charming set. It’s a win-win situation.
The Lego Twilight set was created by a Lego fan named Nick Michel, believe it or not. The Lego enthusiast submitted his proposal to the toy company’s Ideas program. The creative program was launched for the first time in 2023, thanks to the collaboration between Lionsgate and Lego, according to Decider. Nick’s submission garnered over 10,000 online votes, making him the winner of the unique contest.
Nick shared the inspiration behind his concept with Lego Ideas: «I just thought it would be so funny to translate this movie and these characters into LEGO form. I’m a big fan of the LEGO Batman movie and how it skillfully injects humor into otherwise melodramatic themes, and I thought Twilight would be just as good. As with building LEGO, I came out of my 'dark period' of Twilight as an adult. However, I wasn’t a fan of Twilight as a child. At some point, I started always suggesting Twilight as a movie option to my wife and our friends, to the point where they knew it would happen every time. My wife and I had a period where we watched movies on repeat to the point where I could quote the movie script as easily as I could quote Shakespeare»
