The novel «The Handmaid’s Tale» continues to intrigue viewers regarding the topography of Gilead. Although many know that it was once the United States, fans have speculated about its locations throughout all six seasons of the Hulu series, particularly about New Bethlehem. During the premiere of the sixth season in April 2025, viewers saw the character Elizabeth Moss, June Osborne, returning to New Bethlehem.
